She can swim for long period of time and in long distances. She also has a natural niche for medicine and navigation.
General::The Kuhli Tribe lives a long the coast of the San Juan Islands. The Kuhli Tribe is popular for their Shaman and their keen relationship with Mother Nature and all her creatures. One that they feel is very important is the Wild Water Rat. The Water Rat is so important to their tribe that they breed, raise, and live side by side with them. The Kuhli rats raise and train their rat pups with the human children of the tribe. The rat pups learn not the basic survival skills of a wild rat; but also survival skills the human children learn. The pups learn to read the sky,the stars, how to communicate with Mother Nature, how to strengthen all the senses; and so much more. The pups also learn that not all humans are like the people in their tribe. Training starts at their hopper stage and most pups complete at six months. Once done with their pup training, they begin the adult level. Which is more with hunting and fighting skills.
Blossom was born with an uncommon color combination. Earthly green and browns. She was also the runt of the litter, which explained her small physical size when she became an adult rat. But in no way did it get in the way of her strength. She was as healthy and strong as all the other rat pups. On the center of her back is marking called the 'Shaman's Eye', which means medicine. By two months she had already completed her pup and adult training. At the third month of her life she had a dream of a great journey and new life from across the world and how she was going to help her new family. The following day she told her human and rat family about her dream. That night she said her goodbyes and the father of her human family took to the nearest town's dock to catch a create boat. In her journey she meet many different domestic and wild animals; all were helping her to get to England. Rats in Japan and China taught her new fighting skills, martial arts; and in India she learned different meditating methods from the monkeys that would help her summon her earth and water element strengths when ever she wanted. Two months since she left home she reached the country side of England were she was welcomed by the rat clan "Retrovertigo" At five months of age she has still kept in contact with the friends she made in her journey and her family back in the San Juan Islands.
Blossom is generally merry and happy go lucky. She always tries to look on the bright side of things and offer help when she can. She's kind, compassionate and hates violence; she tires to reason and talk instead of fighting. But in no way is she a push over and she will protect herself if she feels that she needs to. She respects her authority, but will speak up when she feel is most needed. She is smart and wise for her age, but she always excepts new lessons. Blossom is humble and seems to know how to keep her cool. She's very outgoing and is afraid of very little; the only thing she fears she keeps to herself. She also observes a lot. Sometimes she can be found on the highest branch of the biggest tree near by, staring out. She loves her position in the pack [Gatherer], it gives her the freedom to venture out in the area and to be able to use her strengths. She is also known for all her different animal friends.
ps: this is a major rough draft, there will be changes latter on. pss: lol, changed her name, because it was confusing some people since it was so close to sounding like June. plus without thinking about it, her personality is just like my old rat Blossom; hence the reason i felt to name this character after my rat. But this blossom looks nothing like the Blossom i raised.
How the hell did I miss this one?! She is gorgeous! The colours work really well together!
