Blankie Junkie Its’ midnight on a new Sunday morning, Whitney and I are sitting at my cluttered dining room table playing on our laptops: her Apple and my Dell. We’re waiting patiently for the meatloaf I prepared to be cooked and ready for our late-night dinner. I get a sudden chill up my spine after I changed the song on my iTunes to Black Sabbath; by instinct, I get up to retrieve a blanket. This blanket though is no ordinary blanket. This blanket is the one object in my life I depend on. It’s a 35 year-old quilt that’s had its stuffing beaten out of it by my tough Blankie Junkie

Sorry That's Just Not MeSorry athletes sports mean nothing to me; I look for something more meaningful. Sorry musicians music does mean a lot to me, but its not the most important thing in my life; I'm searching for a song not yet recorded. Sorry artists I love art, but its not my muse; I seek for a painting not on canvas.
Sorry teachers though I whole heartily enjoy learning and expanding my mind, you don't have the lesson I crave to know; I aim for something only one teacher can teach me. Sorry authors though I own bookshelves filled with bounded stories, they are not the book I'm after; I eye for something that can not be purchased Sorry That's Just Not Me
